The Kern County Elections Division is holding a hiring event on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Kern County's administration building located at 1115 Truxtun Avenue in Bakersfield.
In preparation for the upcoming Presidential Primary Election season, the Kern County Elections Division is seeking to hire over 100 individuals to serve as temporary Election Process Aides. The event aims to attract qualified candidates who are interested in playing a crucial role in the democratic process.
To be eligible for the position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Registered to vote in Kern County
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Possess customer service skills
• Have full availability
Successful candidates will be responsible for various tasks, including but not limited to:
• Data entry
• Answering phones
• Ballot processing
Compensation:
The Election Process Aide position offers an hourly wage of sixteen dollars per hour.
